Margaret (Peggy) Collrin was one of  three art teachers to receive the 2009 DPS 'Art Teacher of the Year' award.  Congratulations Peggy!

Celebrate Urban Birds

Mini-Grant

DDSD students have been participating in activities sponsored by Cornell University's Lab of Ornithology such as "The Great Backyard Bird Count" and "Art in Birds/Birds in Art" Challenge.

Our school, out of 650 applicants, was one of  20 finalists for a Mini-Grant to hold a special event planned by students in June.

We are happy to announce that DDSD was one of the applicants selected and awarded a Mini-Grant.  Congratulations!

Thank you for your support!
